Management consultant with extensive experience in Information Security and Quality management.

MSc Management and Organisational Innovation Queen Mary, University of London 2013 Ana holds MSc degree in Management and Organisational Innovation from Queen Mary, University of London, MSc degree in e-Business Management and BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.

Over 10 years she works as Management Consultant in Macedonia and the region with private companies and public organization. Her professional experience includes project management, knowledge and innovation management, risk management, personal data protection, as well as design, development and delivery of tailor-made training. Her expertise is focused on information security and quality management in organizations.

Ana is an ICMCI International Certified Management Consultant – CMC and PECB ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

She is active in the civil sector taking participation with various NGOs including being member of the Supervisory board of the Macedonian Consulting Association, President of the Macedonian Chevening Alumni Association and founding member of Readiness for Europe 2020.

Petar Kamcev

Policy analyst with broad experience in central banking, public policy making, EU integration and international cooperation.

He has more than 11 year work experience in the field of EU accession and integration, EU policies and institutions, public policy research, international cooperation, strategic planning, project management and capacity building through training development and delivery. In the recent years, he has been working in the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia as Head of International Relations Unit. Before joining the central bank he was working in different positions at the Secretariat for European Affairs in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia where he was involved in the approximation of the national legislation with the EU acquis and the policy dialogue between Macedonia and EU.

His current position looks into effective judiciary, policy analysis and migration. Prior to the MA studies, Gjakush has worked with the EU Delegation (Skopje) on political affairs and media. He is very passionate about elections, built through the OSCE/ODIHR missions and analysis. National and regional affairs were at the focus of his personal three-language blog and on-line media writings in 2012-14. Ten-years of experience as interpreter have expanded his knowledge and network across the region.

MA Design Studies Central Saint Martins’, University of the Arts London 2005 Gordana Vrencoska holds an MA degree in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design, London; BA in Painting & Fashion Design from St. Cyril & Methodius University in Skopje. She has participated in numerous art and design shows in Macedonia, Germany, Belgium, G. Britain, China, USA and other countries. Gordana is also involved in various design consultancy projects. Since 2006 she teaches at the Faculty of Art & Design, European University in Skopje, where she currently serves as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.

She has received a significant number of grants and awards, with the prestigious Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Inc. grant for artists in 2014/15, among others.

Since 2010 Ivana is a Program Manager at the US Peace Corps in Macedonia.

Innovation and entrepreneurship professional with experience related to start-up support and a special interest in the areas of commercialization and financing of innovation.

MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship University of Manchester, Manchester Business School 2014 Ljupka holds MSc degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester and BSc degree in Electronic Business from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.

She is an innovation and entrepreneurship enthusiast with experience related to innovation and start-up support, both in the country and internationally. She has worked on multiple international projects financed by European funds and different development agencies (including USAID and ADA). She has also participated in organization of business competitions, conferences and researches in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.

She has been involved in the work of public institutions, such as the Ministry of Education and Science and the Fund for Innovations and Technology Development, where she is currently engaged as an Adviser, working on different activities, ranging from strategic design of the Fund’s support instruments to close monitoring and support of innovation projects.

She has experience in designing and delivering innovation and entrepreneurship trainings.

Program Director at International Republican Institute Macedonia office; holds expertise in public opinion research, policy analysis, democratic governance and political consulting.

MSc Comparative Politics (Democratisation) London School of Economic and Political Science 2010 Ilina Mangova holds MSc in Comparative Politics – Democracy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and BSc in political studies from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.

Mangova has managed projects, written analyses, policy papers, reports and other articles on electoral processes, good governance, public opinion, anticorruption in Macedonia and the region. She has participated in several academic conferences and has published articles in Macedonia, the region and the United Kingdom. In May 2014, as a recipient of the award ‘Diversity Fellowship’ she has conducted a visiting fellowship at the think tank Policy Network in London, United Kingdom. In 2015 she thought ‘Political Systems and Global Relations’ at the School of Journalism and Public Relations in Skopje. She has also been a coordinator for Macedonia for the international scientific research project ‘Varieties of Democracy Project’, which conceptualizes and measures democracy in over 100 countries in the world and is run by Gothenburg University, Notre Dame University, Lund University and Boston University.

Today she runs the International Republican Institute (IRI) branch in Macedonia, where she also worked in the period between 2005 and 2009 on a program for public opinion research, political consulting, including political analyses, building strategies, trainings and consultations for political parties in Macedonia.

She is a member of the International Political Science Association. Occasionally, she writes blogs for the international website Future Challenges, established by the Bertelsmann Foundation and the International Republican Institute’ blog Democracy Speaks.

She holds an MA in TESOL from the University of Leeds (UK) and a PhD in teacher education from Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Republic of Macedonia), where has taught since 2006.

Her work involves supporting the development of pre-service EFL teachers in face-to-face and online contexts. Apart from second language teacher education and online learning, her research interests also include group dynamics, motivation and learner autonomy.

MPhil in English and Applied Linguistics University of Cambridge 2003 Sonja Kitanovska-Kimovska holds an MPhil degree in English and Applied Linguistics from Cambridge University, UK, and a PhD in Translation from Ss Cyril and Methodius University (UKIM) in Skopje.

Sonja has been in the translation profession for 15 years. She has worked as an in-house translator and interpreter for SIDA-funded projects for almost 10 years. Since 2003 she has also worked on a freelance basis. She specialises in technical translation, IT/telecom, legal, business and marketing translation. She is a court translator and interpreter accredited by the Macedonian Ministry of Justice and a member of the Steering Committee of the Macedonian Translators Association (MATA).

Since 2010 she has also taught English, Translation Practice and Translation Tools courses at the Department of Translation and Interpreting at UKIM, Skopje. Her research interests include translation and style and translation assessment and evaluation.

Human Rights and International Politics University of Glasgow 2016 Novica holds MRes Human righst and International Politics from the University of Glasgow, and a MA in International Relations and BSc in Economics form Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Novica is probably best known for writing a small book about the Macedonian authoritarian regime. Most of the time he talks about free software and in its social implications, and more broadly in how law, technology and economics interact, and also about media, the Internet and censorship. In the past years Novica worked on policies and laws, most notably, the proposal for the Macedonian free software policy which for some time has been shelved by the government, the Macedonian Internet blackout to raise awareness about the controversial bill to hold ISPs reliable for content published by users, and a policy paper proposing a reform of the Macedonian citizen identification number. By day he mostly work as an accountant.
